Club Referees

EYSA Club Referees


EYSA utilizing Club Referees for all games ages U6 through U19. All Club referees must be 11 years of age (or turn 11 during the season). The great thing about being a club referee in EYSA is you can schedule (approve/decline) games around your schedule. You can black out week days or weekends or even certain hours you dont want to work. Most games are on Saturdays. All Club Referees must attend a mandatory training class. If you know of anyone that is interested in become and EYSA Club Referee please contact our Referee Assignor. 


We will have an EYSA Club Ref training class for all referees to go over rules in EYSA Rec league on:
9/5/20, Saturday 4 pm @ Gadsden State Track Field.

Pay:


EYSA pays all club Referees on a bi-weekly schedule. All Referees are W-9 Contract employees. Your first two games will be training and are not paid. EYSA will provide a ref jersey to all new Club Referees. You are responsible for a whistle, stop watch, and way to keep score (best is go to Academy and get Ref "wallet"). The following is the pay scale for the 2018-2019 Season:

U6 (per game): Single $8, Dual $5 each
U8 (per game): Single $10, Dual $6 each
U10/GSS (per game): Single $15, Dual $8 each
U12 (per game): Single $20, Dual $11 each
U14 (per game): Single $25, Dual $13 each
U16/U19 (per game): Single $30, Dual $16 each

Below are the general rules for EYSA recreational soccer program. Any rule not specified will be defined by Alabama Youth Soccer, US Youth Soccer, and/or FIFA.
