Welcome to the foundation of the Rush Player Pathway! 

Our Pre-Academy programs are designed to provide young players with a dynamic and fun environment where they begin to build the essential skills needed to enjoy and succeed in soccer for years to come.  If you have a player that is age 5 to 7 years old see below!

Pre Academy (U6–U8)

Training Location: Rainbow City MegaSports Plex & Sand Mountain Park
Schedule:

• Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
  
• Times:
•  Tuesday   5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
• Thursday  5:00 PM - 6:30 PM

 
Seasons:

• Fall: Late August – Early November
• Spring: Late February – Early May

Our Pre - Academy offers a higher-level training environment for players showing strong enthusiasm and potential. Sessions are led by licensed trainers who follow the Rush curriculum with an emphasis on agility, ball control, decision-making, and technical execution.

Games: Pre Academy players are placed into teams for match play at Gadsden Rec Complex & Sand Mountain Complex 

GK Training / Mental Performance Training / Speed and Agility: Provided during the season

Is Pre Academy Right for My Child?

The Junior Academy is designed for players who show:

• Coachability: Focused and responsive at training and games
• Self-Motivation: A drive to improve and compete
• Enjoyment: Loves the ball, learning new skills, and being part of a team
• Athletic Ability: Demonstrates balance, coordination, agility, and quickness

Fees & Registration

Season Fee:

• U6 (2020): $150
• U7 (2019): $150
• U8 (2018): $150

Tryouts are Open to All Players within the Age Groups!

Uniforms

All players in the Pre Academy will wear the official Rush Pre Academy kit. After registering, families will receive a link from to place uniform orders.
